Watermains
Campbell Contracts Ltd undertake the management, enabling, design, planning and construction of packages of work throughout Northern Ireland.
Strategic valve Testing
Working with NI Water we ensure the operability of valves on Strategic Trunk Mains throughout Northern Ireland. All information collated is critically important information in the event of water supply outages.
Lead Pipe Replacements
Campbell Contracts Ltd work with NI Water on their 25 year programme to replace lead services across Northern Ireland.
Trunk Main Condition Assessments
Campbell Contracts Ltd work closely with NI Water to non-destructive test and investigate watermains to determine their condition, performance, remaining useful life and failure risk.

GAS
Medium & Low Pressure Mains
To date, Campbell Contracts have installed over 50 kilometres of new gas MP and LP gas pipelines in the west of the province primarily by directional drilling.
Gas To The West
Campbell Contracts Ltd helped bring natural gas network into the west of Northern Ireland, installing over 22km of large diameter Intermediate Pressure Pipeline on the busy A4 between Fivemiletown and Enniskillen.

WINDFARMS
Harburnhead Windfarm
Campbell Contracts partnered with a valued client to construct a 22 turbine windfarm in West Lothian. Works included road construction, drainage, excavation for turbine bases and associated infrastructure.
Afton Windfarm
Campbell Contracts partnered with a valued client to construct a 25 turbine windfarm in East Ayrshire. Works included road construction, drainage, excavation for turbine bases and associated infrastructure.

EARTHWORKS/CIVILS
Eleclink
Campbell Contracts partnered with a valued client to provide earthworks and drainage for the construction of a high voltage direct current converter station, buildings and yard beside the Eurotunnel site in Folkestone. This was part of an interconnector project between this site and the Eurotunnel Site in Coquelles, France.
Elms Field Regeneration Project
Campbell Contracts Ltd partnered with a valued client to deliver a large scale urban regeneration project to create a new play area, hotel, cinema, retail and residential units in Wokingham. We undertook all earthworks, drainage, utilities, road and footpath construction, car parking and play areas.
LIVERPOOL 2, PHASE 2
Campbell Contracts Ltd partnered with a valued client to expand the UK’s largest transatlantic port. In Phase 2, works included site clearance, removal of an existing wind wall, installation of deep stormwater drainage, associated manholes, attenuation tanks, water mains, cable and street lighting ducting. 60 large concrete bases were excavated and poured to zero tolerance to accommodate shipping crane rails. Site finishing works included 40,000m2 of new tarmac roads and storage areas, 76,500m2 of clean gravel areas.
A8 BELFAST TO LARNE DUALLING PROJECT
Campbell Contracts Ltd partnered with a valued client to upgrade 14km of A8 Belfast to Larne to dual carriageway. We were involved in the construction of permanent attenuation ponds, earthworks and approximately 30km of drainage pipelines up to 2100mm diameter.
MAYNOOTH EDUCATIONAL CAMPUS
CCL worked with a valued client on this large educational campus site containing 2 new post primary schools and a sports building in Co. Kildare. We delivered all earthworks including road and footway construction, installation of all site services and connections to the existing infrastructure.

Campbell Contracts Ltd in partnership with NI Water undertake the management, investigation, design, planning and construction of waste water packages of work throughout Northern Ireland. Our works primarily provide first time services to new residential and commercial developments.

COMMUNICATIONS / DUCTING
M8 M73 M74 MOTORWAY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
Campbell Contracts Ltd partnered with a valued client on this project which was to upgrade the core of Scotland’s motorway network. We installed over 200km of communications ducting and 100km of street lighting ducting including installation of all associated chambers.
Solar Farms
Campbell Contracts Ltd partnered with a valued client to deliver Northern Ireland’s largest solar energy development. We installed over 50km ducting with associated chambers and constructed two sub-station buildings.

PLANT HIRE
Northern Ireland Electricity
Jim Campbell secured a plant hire contract with Northern Ireland Electricity in 1974 , the beginning of a long and successful relationship. The company still holds the contract for supply of plant hire for construction and refurbishment of Overhead Lines.
General Plant Hire
We have a range of Excavators, Dumpers and Dozers ranging from 1.5 Tonnes to 46 Tonnes available to hire with CSR compliant, competent, skilled operatives.

FLOOD PROTECTION
Hawick Flood Protection
The state of the art flood protection scheme will protect the business and residential properties Scottish Borders town against major flood events. Works include excavation for flood defence walls and embankments, drainage and ducting; footpath construction and finishing works.
Ravenhill Flood Alleviation
This major infrastructure project involves the upgrade of existing and installation of new large diameter gravity sewers and associated manholes to increase the capacity of the sewerage system and reduce risk of flooding in South Belfast.
Water Of Leith Phase 2
Over 1.2km of flood defences were constructed along both sides of the River Leith near Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh, drainage, footpath construction, kerbing and associated river enhancement works.

FOOTPATH CONSTRUCTION / SITEWORKS
CCL provide civil engineering services to developers in the form of various siteworks including construction of access to public roads, construction of public footpaths and connections to network services.

LICENSED HAULAGE
We have 8-Wheeler Tipper Lorries and Articulated Units with Tipping and Lowloader trailers available to hire with drivers for bulk haulage. Also available are Grab lorries for complete collection and delivery jobs where a loading machine is not available.
